Reported sick just now at National University Hospital. Basically I know something is wrong with me when I woke up at 1245hrs today, despite sleeping not very late last night. Woke up with a running nose, sore throat and coughing very badly. With my rashes on my arm not gone yet after so many days, so I decided to go see a doctor in the hospital, instead of going to the clinic. But then ended up the doctor in the hospital wasn't very sure about the rashes as well, it looks like insect bites by sand flies but then it occurred at home, and if it's really insect bites, it is pretty weird that 30 over bites are all concentrated at my right elbow region when I sleep without my shirt on, there are a lot of areas to attack mah. So I doubt that it is the work of the sand flies. Got some medications to apply over it for the next few days.
But the most shockingly of the hospital visit must be my blood pressure. It measured 144/95. The A&E doctor do not feel comfortable at all with my blood pressure, and wrote to the camp Mo to follow up with me with regards to the blood pressure. I have not been falling sick very often recently, and thus I am not visiting the doctors, and not taking my blood pressure regularly. But man this is one big wake up call this evening. This is not the first time already that my blood pressure is on the high side. And it's unlikely to be the last time given my family medical background.
I must really start to do something about my lifestyle, weight, and everything else.
Touchwood lah, but who knows that I might just collapse one day in the middle of a run. What will I be remembered for?
Shall blog about the primary school gathering another day...
