Cedar Pri p3-2 of 1993 gathering...

Have a successful lower primary school gathering last Friday evening. It was co-organized by Miaomei and myself. Okay actually she suggested it and I executed it. Compared to the previous two gatherings held in Aug 07 & 08, this must be the best, because the attendance itself doubled to 8. And it could be more with one falling sick, and the other one couldn't make it due to a flight delay. But nonetheless, I am very satisfied with the turnout.

We had our dinner at Rakuzen, which is located at Millienia Walk. The food is slightly expensive but the atmosphere is relatively okay and not so crowded. We spent time catching up over the dinner, and man, quite amazed by some of their memories. Some could remember little details that happened like 15 years ago.

Candid shot - waitress didn't capture Matthew.

As Wilson is late, and couldn't join us for the dinner. We decided to move to TCC for a drink once he arrived and carried on with the catching up session.

With everyone in the mood, 5 of us decided to proceed to Paulaner Bräuhaus for another round of drinks until really late before we parted ways. It's really nice catching up with such old friends, I actually learnt quite a bit through this gathering, about cars and life, etc. I hope that I would be able to organize more such gatherings in the future. But come to think about it, 15 years just went by like that, and there were many changes - some in terms of characters, some in terms of appearance and looks. We were only 9 years old when we are in the same class, no much worries back in those happy schooling days. Now, almost everyone is working adult, all have their own sets of their problems and worries.

Haha already looking forward to next primary school gathering. There are already quite a few suggestions, a couple even mentioned class of 1996. Back in those days, there are 40 in a class and there were 5 classes. It's one big project but I am not saying that it's impossible but it would requires proper planning and considerations. And I confirm cannot do it alone.
