Christmas Seasons

I got a special invitation to join my former office for a Christmas lunch on Christmas Eve, so I finally went on leave that day, I have been going back to work despite being on leave because I feel that I still have a lot to learn. There are many new additions to the office, haha it's more enjoyable catching up with old friends through, especially friends that I have working with since their enlistment. With the exception of my buddy, and the DXOs, it is just a matter of time that they will going to be civilians again and slowly, I guess the contact with my former office will be decreasing gradually as the days goes by. And after working there for so many years, it's kinda weird to go back there as a military visitor instead. Haha. Actually I was bored in office the other day, so I sent season greetings to friends, officers and men alike, in my former formation, and surprise surprise, many of them didn't forget me and reply me back.

Pictures of the party to follow when I get them. The company is good, the food is more than enough, but maybe because I attend the last year one also, it seems a bit budget this year. Haha.

Spent my christmas eve with my father and his big group of friends from China. But before that, I went to his workplace and met up with my uncles, and my cousin. They are starting to ask about my status, hmmm I am the only 3G Chua in the 20s and still single. Hahaha. And somehow the topic found the way to the dinner with my father and his friends. I guess my father is starting to worry about me, especially I have not committed to any relationships for very long already.

Especially now that we have heard news that my sister is going to re-marry. I don't know how true is it, I have not seen the guy yet.

As usual, drink and eat a lot that night, seems to have some skin irritation after the meal, dunno if it is because my dear father ordered 2 different types of beers and mixed them, or maybe becoz of the food, crabs and frog leg were on the menu as well.

So basically it kinda "screw" up my christmas day. Sehz sehz is one thing, the skin irritation on my hand is another and so I missed the extended family christmas lunch, which I only got to know the night before, so what if i didn't went that day, i probably wouldn't hear about it at all. Haha. But it's alright, it's mainly for the kids, because most of the adults are not christian anyway. So I just stayed home and played game with my reasonably new desktop.

And so when my father asks me to join him last night for another round of heavy drinking and feast, i declined. I am not going to let anything to stop me from attending the pri sch gathering tonight, 10 of us will gather from the lower primary class 15 years ago. That will be quite something.
