The course is so far so good. I have 2 huge advantages over many, firstly is that I was already holding the appt for quite a long period, and then secondly, I am vocationally trained. So it is like a refresher course in a way. But then tml hands-on will be different, will be on par with the rest as I am not trained.
When all the people around you, be it at work, or old friends, start saying that you have put on weight. Chances are that you have really put on weight and is very obvious. There are already 3 occasions in the past 4 days - my old friend, Albert on Sat, my former OC yesterday (current in a way as I am back on course there), today is Coach Robin and a former track mate, Derrick. It is high time to do something about it - probably it runs in the family in a way. And thus explains my run back to SP again.
It is simple jog but with Derrick pacing me for 2km, the pace is slightly faster than my usual slacking pace. Thus today I didn't last long. Haha seriously cannot make it already, Coach Robin is right, I am running with "medicine ball" - it is not easy at all. This is a problem that I am not used to be facing.
Well today after I am done with my run, I fast walked back from SP to home. Not normal walking - it is fast and with arms movement. I feel very comfortable doing it, because the impact on my ankle is much lesser, and it is just for a short distance and time. I wonder if I would deploy this tactic on the big day, maybe I should try it for a much longer distance and time. At least until I lose my medicine ball somewhere?
