I went back to the driving centre to get my terrain forklift driving license this morning. Took a cab there coz i reached home rather late last night and thus struggling to wake up this morning, I visited my father at his workplace at night and he suggested to go Changi Airport to makan and have our late dinner there. And so we went. It was my first time at Changi Airport despite my age. I never got the chance to travel via plane before. To me, it is still a luxury to travel now. Haha.

Well got into a some sorta heated disagreement with the taxi driver while on the way to driving centre about the usefulness of the forklift driving license. He is saying that there is no use for it and it is better to get a class 3 driving license. He is coming from the point that I wouldn't be driving forklift everyday and will forget how to drive and operate. But isn't it going to be the same if I got a class 3 driving license, and dun drive because I am too poor to get and support a car?

Well I didn't really know the need for me to obtain this license at such a short notice. But I took it as a chance to learn something new. And I totally dun agree that it is of no use. Why use manpower and risk injuries especially the generation is getting softer each day, when we can use machinery?

After collecting the license, I proceeded to go to Bishan. Today is Qing Ming Jie, and coincidentally the lunar death anniversary of my late mother and thus I have to go and offer my prayers today. Couldn't find any shops selling paper offerings around J8 area, and thus walked all the way to Braddell to look for the shop and thankfully I finally found one there. After getting all the necessary stuffs, I walked back to the monastery. It is rather crowded just like the last time I was there the weekend before the lunar new year. But well at least the monastery is very well prepared this time round, there are marshalls on duty, security guards, and most importantly additional tables catered to place our offerings. And so I was able to find a table rather easy, and get on with my prayers rather smoothly. They even have people to help us burn the paper offerings. So it went well.

Looking at so many pp doing the prayers, do get to learn a trick or two from them. Because I am so inexperienced in this type of things, there are certain things that I do not know must be performed or must have. Well must improvise the next time I go there. Haha.

The class 3 licence is good and useful but the forklift license is also useful. How many people can to use to drive a forklift? Anything can be put to good use and be an adv in future.
