
I woke up rather early this morning before sun rises. And so I decided to go for a run. Through I procrastinate about it until sun rises. Haha. But eventually I still proceed on with a run. Have not been running for a week so I went slow and steady. Started from Ghim Moh and run along Ulu Pandan Park Connector, 1km into the run, realized that the other side of the connector is closed for pipe works (hahaha I have not been running at the connector for a while) so I dunno what was I thinking but I somehow turned left and head towards Dover Mrt Station and then run along Commonwealth Avenue West, and then turns right to Clementi Road.
I called this "Anyhow" Run because I was still thinking about the route while running. At first I was thinking to only make the turn at Dunearn Road. And comes back via Sixth Ave and Holland Road.
But then the adventurous me suddenly decided to run the other end of the park connector. I have been thinking about it for a while. It is my first time doing that route. I have been only running the side from Clementi Road to Ghim Moh.
So I ran all the way until the other end of the connector which ends quite near at International Business Park before turning back and run the same way. The only difference is that I chose to run on a small path at the opposite side of the connector which is closed, before crossing one of the bridge at the 9km mark and run along the connector again.
Total distance is about 10km which is the target that I have set up for. So the run really turned up to just nice for me. It is like make up training for missing my sat leisure run with my fellow sp track alumni. And haha I need the mileage - I seem to be putting on a bit of weight again. Haha.
