Back to running in MR after a month plus, finally got the chance to join my fellow sp track alumni for the training on a sat afternoon. Hmmm well the break is a bit too long that it feel exactly just like the first time I resumed running in MR after so many years back in End Dec. Plus the rain. It is muddy, slippery, punishing but haha I like. MR provides a great training ground, the uneven terrains pose a challenge to my already battered ankles and feet, yes the chances of me spraining the ankles is there, but the training there has definitely increased my tolerance against pain. The timing for sat run isn't that good, but that's becoz a part of my brain is concentrated on not to fall, and not on the run. Hahaha. So I went slow but oh man I am suffering from much more body aches than what I have from Newton Active Run.
Bumped into gentle at the car park after my run. I think he didn't expect to see me in MR.
I followed my track friends to Toa Payoh for a early dinner. I shopped around there for a hour, got a curtain for my bunk, and was thinking to go home. I was actually waiting for a bus before I suddenly changed my mind and boarded the MRT train and headed to Novena, as I am interested to get a running top.
And talking about bumping into SGRunners, i bumped into another three at the Nike shop - Tiwazz, passionrunner, and laserrunner. So that's it - wasn't planned at all. Joined them to shop shop around and keep Tiwazz company while the ladies shop. And oh ya 2nd round of dinner at a Korean restaurant. Oh jialat.
Was thinking of joining BG run this morning but man my body is aching so much today from the MR run that I decided to skip and remain in the horizontal position for most of the day. And yeah it is about time to go horizontal again. Haha.
