I am now in the middle of a 9 days break. Clearing my off for the rest of the week, but being a off, means that I can be recalled back anytime in the week so I am not making too much plans in advance just in case. I am going to use this break to rest, and tidy up my place, need to start to go through my stuff just in case that my prediction come true.
I have a strong feeling that my rental tenancy of my 2 room flat will not be renewed this time round when it expired this coming Jan, I have yet to receive the letter yet but I think that I should be receiving it in a couple of weeks time. Given my income, and my "incomplete" family structure, and the long waiting list which I think will get even longer given the market out there, chances are quite high that I will be downgrading to a room in my father's place in Bedok.
There is another alternative, it's so much nearer to my workplace, but no I am not going to explore it. There is no way that I will move into her place. That's almost equal to digging my own grave. I rather stay anywhere than staying there. In case anyone wonders who is this, she only contacts me when she need loans.
So now only can wait and see. But it's time to start preparing. I do not really have much time since I am staying in. I have only like 13 weekends left to pack and move if confirmed. Plus my leave, but that got to coordinate with my upper study. I still got a lot to learn from him before officially taking over.
Will be using this break to put in a couple of runs as well. There was some comments by Tekko on my weight on Sunday. No offence. I admit that I am still overweight, but I think he has not saw me for a long time to comment. My weight went up to more than 180 pounds/80 plus kg as recent as in May/June after recovering from my fractured metatarsal. Now my weight is down to 170 pounds/70 plus kg. And my plan is to lose it to about about 160 pounds or so.
Anyway was at Ghim Moh Market just now eating breakfast, when I observed something - a family, 5 of them, including a maid, and a elderly uncle who is on wheelchair, was there to eat breakfast. There are tables catered for the handicapped, a normal table has 6 chairs, the table for the handicapped only has 2 chairs, with 2 chairs removed on each side to cater for 2 wheelchairs. Hmmm so no choice, ended up the relatives took their turns to eat.
I am not against the idea, but what are the chances of having 2 wheelchairs on the same table? Maybe there should be more combination like 4 chairs and 1 slot for the weekchair? I think it would be more friendly for the handicapped and aging community, especially like the case above, the whole family can have the meal together instead of rotating.
Haha or maybe it is a design to prevent others from using the tables catered for the handicapped?
