HDB Rental flats

Like it or not, this is one of the issue highlighted by PM Lee in the national day rally. Figures took from yesterday's Straits Times

40,556 - Number of households living in rental flats
35,725 - Number of households earning less than $800 a month
4,293 - Number of households earning between $801-$1500

In other words, 538 - Number of households earning more than $1500.

And I am one of the 538.

Being a single who is only going to be 24, and "technically" an orphan after the divorce of my parents and the passing of my late mother, I do not know if I will be allowed to keep the rental flat when it's time to renew the lease come Jan. With so much media coverage on the issue and the tightening of the rules and eligibility, I better pray very hard.

I just need a roof over my head.

I am feeling slightly better i guess. Not totally okay. Maybe I am just giving myself too much stress at the moment. Okay lah, got to go back to camp already.
