Woke up at 8am. Went online and chat with Yiying for a while until 9am. Washed up and went down to Ghim Moh Food Centre to buy my favourite black carrot cake. Really enjoyed eating it because it's been quite a while since i last eaten them due to the long renovation works. And it's really nice to see the market buzzing with activities and people again.

After finishing my breakfast, i started to prepare myself for the day. Discovered that the collar of my long sleeved shirt developed stains despite keeping it in my cupboard, but it's too late for me to go buy a new one so i sticked to it, and thankfully the stains are at the inside of the collar, so it isn't that obvious unless you look real close. And i also worn my newly brought pants, hmmm well my waist got more "developed" since i last got to wear formal. And the new number 3 shoes i brought in camp using my emart credit. I couldn't wear my old shoes because the cutting doesn't "match well" with my ankle wound.

Took bus 111 from Ghim Moh Interchange to Suntec City. Once i reached, the big rain also "reported". So i spent my time drinking coffee at coffee bean at Marina Square, and at the same time looking at how's the rain. Waited for about 30 mins before i finally managed to cross over to go to the floating platform when the rain become smaller.

Rest a while for the rain to stop before starting to work. Started to prepare the seats for the more impt pp. Just labeling and cleaning. It may sounds easy, but working under wet conditions in formal attire, and having more than 200 seats to prepare, and with only 4 of us, it's pretty tiring.

After finishing, have the choice of resting in the lounge or watching. Decided to climb my way up to the top with melvin. Stationed ourselves behind the last row just below the control room, standing together with the professional photographers. And the view is great. I have been watching the show at the front few rows for the past few weekends, and so today is a different & brand new experience for me. Took quite a number of pictures using my new phone. Will find time to upload them soon.

After the grand finale, found ourselves caught in a human jam. Hmmm the kiasu spirit. We managed to cut our way down slowly to the more impt pp zone and started work again. Removing whatever we put on the seats just now.

After the work, we went to the lounge to join the makan before knocking off.

Basically that's my simple role in the Public Relations & Protocol - getting the more impt pp seats ready, of coz there's also manning of the hotline as well - small but meaningful.
