Only worked half a day yesterday and being called to take over duty early becoz of colleague clearing off. But it's fine, it was a peaceful day.
The officer on duty is so nice that he tum pang me all the way to my place, well partly he stays in Clementi. Talked to the warrant on duty about my hair. He came out with a funny idea to mantain our professional image - cannot cut hair for 100 days = can trim hair. Hmmm i will talk to my boss on monday before deciding how to go about doing it, though i would like to follow chinese tradition, but actually i am a free thinker, so might not get the nod. And actually i hate keeping long hair - very hot. That's why my hair is always very short. But tradition is tradition, just that our generation is getting less bo chap, and less pp know what to do.
After reaching home, did my laundry and headed out again to Holland Village to meet Cheryl for lunch @ Crystal Jade Kitchen. Then walked around the area before heading to Heeren, meeting her brother, bryan along the way - we took the bus from Holland V, bryan boarded the bus when the bus reached their bus stop. Shopped for a while before heading home.
I overslept on the bus. And only alighted @ SP. Went in to take a walk and see my juniors training. But didn't stay, i headed home soon after.
And fall into a "coma". Very tired. Before heading to the photo shop to get a soft copy of my mother's pict. Thankfully they have not deleted it. I went and re-developed a few A4 and passport-sized pict last week after my nieces wanted to keep. Myself wanted A4, i didn't want to keep the big big one so i asked them to burn with my mother that day. However, the orginal photo decided to disappear in the photo shop, and the cd rom he offered me with the soft copy cant be read. So i went down today with my thumb drive, and yes i finally got a soft copy in case i still need it but i dun think so. And i just realised the pict is actually older than i expected it to be. It was not actually taken 12, 13 years ago, but is 15 years ago...
Didn't head to my father's place. Decided to watch soccer instead. Hahaha. And well i am still very sleepy.
Hmm plan tml is i would be going through my mother's things. I dun really know what is the practice, but i decided to leave them untouched for the 1st 7 days. But well it's sooner or later that i have to start clearing them. It's sad but haiz it's life.
I would like to thank my friends for their continuous attempts to keep me occupied. I am going back to usual. Though it's so sudden to lose her, but afterall i have been independant for the past 8 years or so after her 3rd stroke, my life isn't changing much really. Thanks for all the support again.
