On leave

Took leave today to settle the other administrative stuffs relating to my late mother.

Went to HDB to sign the new rental tenancy agreement with me replacing my late mother as the main tenant. This new agreement is valid for the next 20 months till Jan 09, but i was assured that my tenancy agreement will still be renewed then though i lacks the family structure required.

Then i went on to Power Supply "armed" with the new tenancy agreement to terminate my late mother's account, and apply for my account. Didn't expect it to be done so fast. Maybe because i have all the necessary documents with me. Everything done within in less than 10 minutes. Very impressed by its customer services. I was served immediately after i got the queue number. Even the Giro application is done and approved immediately by the use of NETS card.

Then i went back to my place and go to Holland-Bukit Panjang Town Council. Hmmm a hiccup here. Despite presenting the new HDB tenancy agreement, myself, my late mother's death cert, etc, the staff insist that they will only change the name on S&CC after they received the formal notification from HDB, and asks me to come back again in July when the next payment is due.
Alamak lah, though i am a civil servant myself, i still dun understand the need to go strictly by the book in this case. It's not like that i didn't bring the relevant documents, i got all the orginal documents with me and yet they insist not to process my request. So rigid and stupid.

And so this is more or less the last outstanding administrative stuff to do.

Got news that my sister might be able to discharge out of Hougang Chalet by end of this week.

And i was told that i am the only one who can bring her out as instructed by the doctor.

Feeling complicated. Got to deal with her occasionally madness again.

But overall looking at the bigger picture, maybe it's better for her to be out, especially when you think for her 3 girls. Their father is also avoiding responsibility to look after them. And with his character, i dun think the 3 girls will be good under him. Divorce papers not signed already make another lady pregnant - his number 6, with another 2 before my sister.

No matter what happens to my late mother on that fateful early morning 25 Apr. Whether it's true or not. We got no way to find out. Only she knows the truth. Maybe she's telling the truth, maybe she's not.
But to me, It's all over.

It's not easy. But thinking for my 3 nieces. I rather forgone whatever hatred that i might have.

Life will be easier and happier.

Another reason that i took leave today is because I am on duty again tml after my medical review. Need some time off to take a break.

Okay time to nap, slack, and game.
