Day 119.

Today marks Day 119, or exactly the end of the 17th week of my operation.

Recovery has currently come to a "standstill". Still unable to run. Still walking at times with a slight limp. Still cannot run after buses.

The other day, i opened my strides a bit as i chase after a bus. Just over the distance of half a bus. Just took a few steps. And my ankle ended up to be painful for the next 3 days. Hahahaha, maybe i was over-ambitous, but from that few steps, i know that i am still quite faraway from coming back.

And so i am still staying away from jogging/running, for at least another 2-3 months.

Duty was fine. After my duty, took a detour to Botanic Garden from camp to meet my SGRunners friends for makan session after their run. Saw quite a few new forum members, but well having a goldfish short term memory, means i forget their nicks liao.

Then i went back home to sleep for four hours. Finally awake at 4.45pm. Replied the msg from xp. After a few exchanges of sms, i got invited to join her for church at 6pm. Hmmm jumped off the bed and showered, and rushed off to church. It was my 1st visit to church for 10 years. Opps. Hahahaha.

By the way, xp is my sec sch junior. I have not seen her for 6 years until a few nights ago. I happened to see her at a bus stop at Thomson. She was there for prata, and i was changing bus from camp while on my way home, and that night i happened to be working overtime until 8. If not, we would not have meet each other de loh. It's kinda fated i guess.

After church, we went makan dinner before sending her back. After that, I went back to TPY. And got hold of my jeans. So that's it. I finished my New Year shopping for new clothes. Next weekend got to go bank and get new notes. Ever since my mother is down with strokes, practically her hongbaos = i pay for, and i packed one. And so the hongbao meant for me - i give to my mother, my mother give back to me. Hahahaha.

Got to go sleep liao. Tml morning will go physio first before heading back to camp. This weekend like never exists like that. Hahaha.
