My oscar

I finally got my oscar fish live feeder. Well he has been "protesting" against me feeding him only dried shrimps by splashing water all over the place. And he was so hungry that he almost went for my finger the other day. But in fears of ick, i have decided against to buy the feeders from the fish shop i usually patronlise, swapped to buy from the market one, but it isn't his fault lah, something might be wrong with his supplier. But 2 ick attacks in a row liao, so i didn't want to take the risk.

And to make the 2 dollars worthwhile, i purposely choose the biggest feeder fishes. Got about 15 in a pack, and they are about 1-1.5 inches long each. But my oscar is quite dumb in a way, he tried to swallow 2 (1 head facing in, 1 head facing out) at one go, which can be done when it's tiny small goldfishes. But this one mah, he struggled to swallow and digest for 5 mins, in the end no choice, let the head facing out one escape from death for the time being, without part of its tail fins. Funny. Ok i know i quite sadistic.

In the past, i will order feeders in bulk, and its diet is almost purely on live feeders. Now i swapped policy liao. I will feed him dried shrimps for most of the day, only giving him bonus - live feeders at weekend. It will save me abit.

You can call me kiasu or wat. Now i will look at my electricity meter daily to analysis the usage. Haha. Coz my usage is horrible. Consider that i stay alone now, but i am way above the national average. Need to check if my meter is siao siao, or i really use so much power.
