Our aim is to provide aid (in the form of groceries) to the needy housebound/elderly residents and we are targeting to reach out to 500 to 600 needy homes within the South West district.
We would like to seek your support either in terms of donations or to participate in the mass delivery to the various houses, or both.
With this event, we hope to break a new record in the Singapore Books of Records with the most number of volunteers delivering groceries to needy households in Singapore.
You can use your own car as a mode of delivery or alternatively you may hop onto any of the buses chartered by NUSS to ferry volunteers to the designated blocks for delivery and back to NUSS.
The Flag-Off Ceremony will be held on 31 July 2010, Saturday. Details of the event are as follows:
