Body clock

Have been struggling to adjust my body clock back to Singapore time since arriving back from Germany. Haha I know it's been a week le. Yesterday night was the first that I managed to fall asleep before 11pm, but damn I woke up at 1am before falling asleep again at 3am. It was slightly better than last week when it was superb common for me to sleep at 4, 5am and woke up only in the afternoon. Maybe it's due to me travelling to a different time zone for the first time and the duration I spend over there. But there is a sense of urgency to tune it before I go back to work come next month.

And I have made up my mind for Dec. I have signed up for HM only. I think that it is the most sensible decision, in terms of my current body condition and fitness. I am planning to sign up for a couple of 10km races prior to the HM, depending on my work and community work schedules.

As for the DNF in the previous race, let me said this in this little space instead of the forum, I think the slower runners have the rights to complain, since it was stated in the cut off timing in the race information booklet that they will cut off at the 18km at 8:20pm, which they cut 1 hour earlier at 7:20pm that night. But I also noted that it was clearly stated that there is an 4-hour limit to complete the full 25km route. So whether it was a typo, or what, I leave it for the organisers to sort it out.

But the complain sessions in the SGRunners forum explosed some insensitity of the faster runners. They forget that there is always some runners who are less talented, struggling with injuries and weight, etc. Not everyone is bornt to run fast.

That's why I have become not so active in the community and dun join them for group runs anymore becoz I know that I was too slow to catch up.

Anyway the race's over and let's move on from here.
