Worst run... Hahaha

Was late to meet my other SP Track Alumni for the routine sat afternoon run at MR, well partly because I worked till 3am on sat morning before leaving camp, only slept like 4am in the morning. So I made the decision to join them late, and thus I was late. Haha actually shouldn't have go, not only I didn't manage to see them when I reached, only saw their cars - means that they have already started running, and thus got to fork out 2 dollars for the locker service. Thought that maybe I can catch up with them, but i knew it is going to be mission impossible as my engine never really warmed up for this.

Haven been running for 2 weeks, so I kinda expect it that it will be difficult. The weather was freaking hot, and my body is feeling very heavy, and my mind is not functioning properly, I think my body clock is still adjusting from my late night work. My engine went off so superb early in the run that I think it's better to make a u turn to walk back. But I took it as a chance to do a long walk, and thus I proceeded with the 10km route.

And so I completed the course in my record slowest time that I shall not reveal. But it is still less than 2 hours. Hahaha. And with my back is sunburnt, less the singlet shape.

Maybe it is a good wake up call. I been saying that I want to run more, I want to lose weight, and yet it is still not happening. I passed my BMI this year - 26.9 something, but not without some drama. I weighted 81kg at this stupid weighting machine in the medical centre. Which is 3kg heavier than the weighting machine that I have at home, and in fact I weighted myself using the weighting machine for the luggage at Changi Airport recently also. And so I have been asking the medics if their machine is okay. 3kg made a freaking big in the calculation of BMI. As I was busy at work, I forgot to measure my body fat before I go and thus I went back another couple of days later.

And well the body fat machine also measures weight. Through I failed my body fat % as well, but the weight and BMI generates a different result. I weighted 78kg using the machine. And so my BMI dropped back to the acceptance range just barely.

So safe for another year, but my body fat % is very horrible. Even worst than what I have got a couple of years back during a check up. It starts with the digit 3. Hahaha. It's really time to do something about it.

But with work piling up like nobody business, I know the more arrows u got, is a form of recognition that you are capable of doing it, so I cannot complain much. I need to work on my time management - maybe I will reverse my decision to stay out - it is not about money, it is about saving the time spent to travel to work on something else - either on work or run.
