The 4th gathering was held on 31st last month, because Stephanie who is now based in US, is back for Chinese New Year. She only informed me about the trip 2 weeks in advance and asked me if a gathering can be organized. I agreed and because of her short stay in Singapore, and her request not to meet on weekends, and also it being the Chinese New Year, we didn't have too much date to choose from, and the fact the last gathering on a Friday night has a relatively good attendance, we agreed to meet on a Friday night.
For those who thought that organizing this gathering is easy, I was coordinating this gathering most of the time in camp via internet connection using my mobile phone. And hahaha I got quite a problem contacting the main character of the show ever since she touched down in Singapore. So the venue, and practically the gathering is finally confirmed the night before for the gathering when I finally managed to contact Stephanie.
We have a simple dinner at Thai Express over at The Heeren, and a total of six of us turned up. This is the first time that the ladies outnumbered the guys. Miaomei is no longer the only gal. Haha.

The gathering went well I got to say. Nice to catching up with so many ladies. Hahaha. But thankfully I wasn't the only guy through I learnt from Darryl that he almost pulled out due to assignments.
But what hurts & deter me from organizing the next gathering must be the msn conversation with Kian Hern on Sunday after this gathering. It took me a while to consider if I should post this up but heck lah, so people will know why the next gathering will take a lot of time before it happen.
KH sms me that night at 9 plus that he wanted to cancel his trip to Tanah Merah and rushed down to the meeting venue. So logically I consulted the main character of the show to let her know about it, she informed me that she is leaving after the dinner. So I replied the same thing to him, and ask him not to rush down.
He got the cheek to ask me if we REALLY DISMISS after dinner that night. If it is not distrust, I do not know what is.
He also started to ask me what kinda number that I gave him. Why there is no response from Stephanie? He thought so easy to find her arh.
And there is this selfish suggestion to organize gatherings on Tue and Thu, because someone has classes on Mon, Wed and Fri. Now who is the organizer??? You want me to come out of my SG camp on Tue and Thu? I think can wait long long. Who would like to have a happy gathering, and possibly a long one, on Tue and Thu? This gathering ended prematurely in a way because of the crowd, if there is more who drink, who knows.
And then next talk about the priority is maximum attendance. If I was told only 2 weeks in advance about a 2 weeks trip, with Chinese New Year in the mix, I already got problem choosing a date with my main character, Stephanie. How the hell can I ensure a date with maximum attendance? 40 invited guests on facebook, already 15 did not even bother to reply, he think it is so easy to satisfy everyone?
I put in so much bloody effort to organize a gathering at such last min notice and with quite a lot of constraints and then I got into some sorta of arguement with this bo liao chap over msn.
He can still ask me at the end, how do I think about him?
It took me 2 weeks to post this. Was considering about it.
One more friend, one less friend? One more foe, one less foe?
To me in the end, it doesn't matter anymore. You only need true friends.
Those who understand you and understand your decision.
I already did quite a bit in gathering most of my primary school friends through gatherings or via my facebook group. Maybe it is good time for me to take a break and let him trying to organize a gathering on Tue or Thu night. Hahahaha.
