While you can say that the week has ended reasonably happily for me with a superb delayed Deepavali celebrations at the mess on Friday evening, it was not a good week. It started with an investigation over an minor incident that occurred during the last exercise. I shall name it as the egg incident.
Apparently the external contractor forgot to give. But it somehow become an accusation that I did not bring enough containers which was untrue. It is such a trivial matter but it become such a big hoo-haa with so many crabs from various units getting involved.
I can said that I learnt a lot from the incident. The uncle was so nice to me, and talking so nicely during the exercise, but when things happen, the situation is totally 360 degrees different. Lies. A lot of lies. In fact they even asked me to change my statement.
No news on the outcome yet. I stood my ground on this case. Because it concerns my honesty and intergity. But I must said that it wasn't easy given my poor small rank and my little experience on logistics.
Haha with a case within a month of posting in, haha no need to go around and intro myself liao.
And I must be extra careful next time.
