Temporary Freedom

Well got the chance to go to another location to do stocktaking. It's a chance for us to have some hands on some stores on the ground, before actually taking over some stores of our own. And maybe for a rare one, it might be a preview for his future work place. While we got to sweat it out quite a bit, but the good side is that we got to stay out for the rest of the week. It may not be good to some who stay quite a bit distance away, but for me, it's just nice - not too near but not very far either.

As for yesterday's incident, well it's over. Maybe there might be some comments here and there. But I know that I did the right thing, as the course made the effort to do the right thing this morning.

The end of the course is coming. But compared to the other stay in courses that I attended, I did not really manage to save much. Yes those loans to my sister played a part. But that is not the only reason. I think my mindset plays a part - I thought that as I am staying in, I would not be spending much outside, and because of that, I did not watch my wallet closely over the weekend. But then I did not go shopping leh. So I am still thinking where did the $$$ went.

Am I paying so much for races? Maybe.
Am I paying too much to taxi drivers when I book in on Sunday? I sure did. Hahaha.

Thus for the past 2 weekends, I have been leaving home much earlier to catch train to Sembawang.

Well I got to really change my mindset and watch my expenses, if I would to assume that I would not be spending much whilst staying in, then I will probably end up with not much savings.

I just realized that the day of NBRR clashes with the lunar birthday of my late mother. Alamak. Anyway the difference between the lunar birthday and birthday for this year is only 4 days. Guess that I got to rush back and proceed to Kwong Wai Siew Peck San Theng to pay respects after the run. It's been quite a long while since I went there, my leg was not in good shape back in April for Qin Ming festival and her death anniversary so I didn't go but only burn some offerings at the void deck. So I thought, through it's going to be damn rushed, I better go this time round and do a little bit of cleaning/maintenance there as well.
