Not again.

My right ankle with the torn ATFL give way under the twisting and turning due to the uneven terrain with quite a number of potholes at the first training area on the first day. I twisted it at least for 3-4 times on the same day alone, and it is swollen by the end of the day. Before it got any worst, I took the decision to fall out on the morning of day 2 to rest the ankle before rejoining in the evening as an observer.

Only for me to learn from one of the instructor after that that I am one of the 4 possible candicates for the best trainee, but I think I wasn't being assessed that well for this summary exercise as a result of me falling out. So I guess that I am probably out of the horse race by now.

Maybe I will look back at this decision and regret one day. Afterall, it has been my secret goal since the course has started. But I know it was the wiser decision to make under such circumstances. I didn't want to risk another long spell out of action again. There is always another day and chance for me to prove myself again.
