Another Lazy Sunday

Guess what is it?



Haha my left arm is now swollen after being IV on Friday. Sianz. Hopefully it will go away naturally in a couple of days time. Oh ya didn't mention why I got IV. I also don't really know why and what happened. Just that I vomit out my breakfast after my run, so I went report sick, my temperature is high, my blood pressure is also pretty high, my heart beat is also pretty fast given the run already ended long ago, so I somehow ended up in the sick bay with the diagnosis of possibly physical exhaustion.

Oh well I hope the diagnosis isn't accurate coz it smells trouble for the operational phase that is in 1 week time. But I knew that the possibility is there because I have not run for more than a month, I have been performing marshaller duties for almost all the runs for the past month.

I went to Beach Road yesterday afternoon alone to get some stuff required for the operational phase and then I visited my father in the evening and joined him in one of the delivery trip to Jalan Bukit Merah. It was one of those "somebody make a blunder" trip, so he is complaining and complaining while he is driving to the destination. After which, since we are already at Jalan Bukit Merah, he decided to send me back to Ghim Moh, where we have our dinner, before parting ways.

Actually was thinking if I should go support fellow SGRunners in the Army Half Marathon this morning, I actually woke up rather early. But I am still tired, and soon I am glued to the actions from Beijing Olympics Men Marathon shown live on TV. And so I didn't go ahead with the plan.

Am thinking if I should make a new pair of spectacles coz my current one might be a bit too fragile for the outfield activities - need a rigid one. But well the weather today is so bad that I do not think that I will leaving my home until book in timing. So I guess that I will make do with it until it broke or something. Opps. Hahaha.

Oh by the way, the loan that my sister is requesting. Well the sum has decreased (but is still reasonably high based on my standard) and there is even "attractive" terms attached - "if you can help her this time, the most you can stop paying her levy and I will be full responsible for everything... think abt it, you help her this time and you save $260 for next a year till her contact end next Nov"

Sounds very desperate. But I am still not convinced.

Because it sounds so similar to the promise that she would help pay for my late mother's expenses once she received her shares of my late mother's CPF when she turned 55. So what happened? None of the money went to my late mother's expenses.

I am already been bitten so many times, so why would I fall into another trap again?

If the maid's mother needs an operation, why isn't the maid asking for the loan herself instead? If she is so so desperate for $$$, why don't she comes to my place and talk to me? I am not being unreasonable, but I dun see any sincerity at all.

Everything is just so fake.

Oh ya I was reading today's New Paper when I read about Utah's four days work week to save the environment. Oh well will it ever happen in Singapore? Wahahaha =P.
