Morbid

As the title implies, i am talking about morbid stuff.

My father told me yesterday his brother (i.e my big uncle) has booked him a "unit" in the same temple where my grandmother's ashes are kept. Well i am not sure if they are in the same "block" with my grandmother, but from i know, my big uncle & his wife will be "next door neighbours" with my father. Making it quite easy to remember them for the next generations.

Frankly speaking, i got to be thankful to my big uncle. He spent more than 10k on that "unit" and that gold tablet. Though there is this installment plan that my father is slowly repaying him. But seriously, it was still a great help. At least, i need not to worry about his resting place anymore. And i too also cannot afford to spend that kind of money, or should i say i dun have such money in my piggy bank.

And since i am taking about death, i shall continue with it. I wonder why the living is trying to earn the money of the dead. The cost of funeral, ritual, resting place, etc are easily in the thousands. Very often will read from newspapers about funerals done for free for the poors that cannot afford to have proper funeral. But in the 1st place, how come it's like that leh?

Hahaha. Dun care about me. I am just having strange/morbid thoughts. =D
