I slept at 1am this morning after watching the Manchester United game. With beer and martell in my belly from the wedding. I didn't expect myself to wake up to work today. Dun ask me how i managed to wake up at 4am, stared at TV and just close eyes for a while until 5.30am, and then wake up to prepare to go work. Well i am not really a drinker, but when your distant uncles and aunties from taiwan cheers you for a drink, it's not polite for me to reject them, afterall they are "guests" and they are my "seniors".

Not only i managed to wake up, i managed to work the whole day. Hahahaha.

Eugene postponed his bday KTV session, so after work, i decided to detour to SP to visit my SGRunners "West Branch". Only Roonz and Tiwazz around. Plus a new guy. Opps i forget his nick. Let's call him, speed demon. He did 3:17 in the SCSM 3 weeks ago, and it is his 1st marathon.

I just go there see see look look loh. Got myself a chair. Sit there shake leg. And cheer/clap after they bypass me every lap, machiam supporter like that. Hahahaha.

Wait for them to run finish, and chit chat with them. Then slowly make our way to CommonWealth where we meet Balasing, and proceed to the market to eat dinner, ching tng, before heading home loh.

Tml will be my 3rd physio. Guess might be doing the same thing, coz my ankle is still not there yet. 1st two sessions are some basic stretches (upward/downward/outward), cycling, and a "very painful" exercise. It seems easy and simple, but for someone with ankle problem, it's damn challenging.

Equipments: a chair and a round balancing board. I will sit down on the chair, with my right foot resting flat on the round balancing board. Then i will apply pressure on my ankle to press one side of the edge of the round balancing board against the floor. From there i am supposed to "rotate" the edge in contact with the floor clockwise/anti clockwise just by using my ankle (not rotating the board, just the edge in contact). Which means the ankle must turn/twist, apply force in various directions.

This simple exercise is enough to make me "cry father cry mother" at the moment.

So i guess it's still quite some time to my recovery.

Then i am on leave for the rest of the day, plus fri. Hope for a dry weather, so i can bring my bedridden mother to HDB. If not, i might return to work if it rains heavily. I am on leave basically for the sake of clearing leave, not really that i want to take the leave. But see how, maybe shall just rest since i am on duty on sunday. But the work is mounting leh. Dun feel ease to rest while the rest are working so hard.

So basically see how the weather after my physio tml...
