Rashes?

"Mother have rashes all over her body."

Well this is what i called an early "warning signal" that someone going to send my mother into hospital AGAIN. So i immediately replied and asked her to get the homecare services nurse instead.

Rashes are well quite unavoidable in strokes patient due to immobility. Most common place to kana is the back. As they lie on their back for long period, and therefore because they cannot move, actually the caregiver has to shift her to her sides after some period to air, like every 2 hours. (to right, back, to left, back, etc)
Another common place to kana is the area covered by diapers. If the caregiver didn't change fast, if it's soaked for too long, there is the chance that rashes will develop.
Another reason is the shirt, bedsheet is dirty, need to wash with hot water.

Well i already tried to avoid rashes by purchasing the pressure mattress for her. Well it reduces the chances, but not removing it entirely.

But i rather get the homecare serivices to come and take a look first. Yes hospital does provide better care, but well in the long term, i cannot tahan hospital every now and then. My mother already hospitalised for 2 times this year, my medisave already half gone. Soccer u score 3 goals in a game, got free matchball, hospitalised 3 times in a year, there is no membership card or any free item. Hahahaha. I rather keep the medisave for a big occasion. Later if i used up medisave, something big happen, then is cash liao. Then i mati, coz my cash power weak. Hahaha.

Besides that, hospital actually is a fertile land for such rashes. Those germs lah, etc. I remember my mother kana one b4 in hospital itself. So no no, no hospital pls.
